Search for Happiness

Contentment is parent of eternal happiness. Everyone on the earth aspires to attain this happiness. We have been facing a drastic transitional period for last decade; where many people are emerging with new social perspectives, who indeed seem to be eager to do something worthwhile to gratify their soul and follow true happiness. But you have to face lots of social constraints and hurdles in the way of achieving it.
Generally people in our society see what they like to see. They think of others as per their own mentality. Two sorts of such folks can be found around us quite easily. One- who are not as much contented with their own progress as they are dissatisfied with other’s apparent happiness, I use word ‘apparent’ here as nobody on this earth is wholly satisfied (as we know that destiny has both- good and bad stuff in its store for us). And second are those- who never let go an opportunity to dig out your pain and to flaunt their sympathy reminding your weakness. These people see only one side of coin and without knowing about real condition, start accusing, cursing or making fun at the back at your misfortune and don't bother about your sentiments. Could anyone write his destiny by his own hand? If you try to lead a remorseless life pushing miseries behind, even then they don’t let you to. How could you look happy and satisfied?? You have no right to!! Why do you do that? Why don’t you do that?? Oh!!! Such people are so incomprehensible. Few questions crop up in mind frequently when I confront them- Why such people always try to find faults in others instead of appreciating virtues. Is it necessary for everyone to take part in cat race of gaining benefit cutting the throats of other participants without gratification of the soul? Why can’t we live and let others live peacefully on their own terms? Why people carry a double standard with them and try to preach only instead of any right-doing themselves? Merely one thing I would like to convey in this regard- we ought to help out others in need heartily according to our capacity instead of just preaching idly. Such preaching loses its meaning until transformed into any worthwhile action. Then and then only one can find true satisfaction and happiness of soul, which can convert an average odyssey of life into a memorable one.
As to quote Mahatma Gandhi - “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

  1. Although I know where it comes from-- the bottom of your heart. It is excellent. Even the elders have appreciated it very much.
Keep up the good work. Put these together and one day you can publish your collection of writings and poems.
    Best
