Green Hope

@This painting is copyright of Shivali.

I come out of my
closed, narrow abode
to stretch my arms
with a small desire-
to embrace green treasure;
to hold finger of nature;
to walk through dense wood
adorned with innocent holy creature……

But I am weary, I am lost,
lost in jungle of concrete,
where all roads go nowhere;
leaving me stupefied n’ scare
on hard stony soil
 under dark, large shadow
of egoistic skyscraper…...

Where a misty quilt
is spread all over with
motifs of smoky clouds
to hide my astral heaven,
to fade moons n’ suns,
sparkling stars become
 blind by gazing beasts
of electric lanterns……

Chirping song is now
suppressed to silence
under hammering noise,
maiden leaves are ashamed
of muddy faces in poor kind,
floating feathers are broken
leaving frail, wounded
 humanity behind……

 I try to console
my conservative soul-
"It's an advanced canvas of
self-assigned artificial creation,
to prove fake supremo
 over invincible Heaven."
and count on rosary of
 green hope to preserve
this original beautiful art
created by Omnipotent Himself……

  1. When Emotions are intense language has to be abbreviated.
    Groans are far more powerful than Excess of Words.
