Once again,

Refreshed, rejuvenated

seems life within its soul,
Repainted, restored are

shabby walls of aged home,

Intense is smell of mirth,

rays are dancing under dome…..

Although,

Some ugly, rough patches

hidden somewhere behind,

  Still peek out in vigor

barely sensed through eyes,

As if to remind us-

Everything is fragile…..

However,

Deceiving all fragility

crushing all malignity,

In the city of monuments

amidst hearts of stone n’ sands

Single drop of eternal love

is enough to keep us alive……
