Lost, Forgotten Verse….

mage@goggle

While searching for me in myself
I found a lost forgotten verse in shelf
Buried among pale, smoky leaflets
In neglected, dusty book of heart
Behind flowery curtain of skin
In some isolated corner of dark

I left it there scribbled by default
May be knowingly or by fault
It’s hard to recall or to rewind
With so many foggy layers on mind
But whatever be the reasons
It had missed so many seasons
Without any glare of criticism
Without any shade of appraisal

When I took it out curious n’ eager
Manuscript was too old to decipher
Ink was faded, words were muddled,
But essence of emotions still unfurled
Having sinking classic taste n’ flavor
But not without fresh aroma of rhyme
Having fragile old ways n’ tradition
But not devoid of modern hymn

It reverberated with old thoughts
All fears, failures, faiths; I fought
Dreams, aspirations of tomorrow
Echo rain drops washing my furrow
Neither recited yet, nor was it heard
Today I found my lost, forgotten verse….
